This heavenly place is popularly called “Daringbadi”, it is situated in Kandhamal district of the state Odisha where nature plunked outstanding elegant beauty. Kandhamal district is also known to be a tribal district which is blessed with beautiful hills, jungles, wildlife and many more attractive places. Daringbadi is situated 74km south of Phulbani district. It is situated about 3000 feet above sea level. It is covered with thick forests which make this place a perfect habitat for wildlife. So it’s become a perfect holiday destination for adventure loving peoples as they get many places to explore here. As this place is situated about 3000feet above sea level so the climate in this place is very cold. During winter season the fog which falls sometimes turn into ice due to extreme cold climate as a result there occurs a snow fall. The snow fall is an eye catching natural phenomena which is loved to watch by tourist. Also the surroundings which have coffee gardens, waterfalls, pine forests, wildlife, tribal village, Rushikulya River and Belghar sanctuary. Daringbadi is full of beautiful places which nobody like to miss it.
Daringbadi don’t have big hotels or lodges but it have many small and medium size lodges and guest house to accommodate tourists. There is also aashram near bus stand of Daringbadi where you can stay.

Summer season from the month march to July is the best time to visit this hill station.
